Who we are

Headless FX is a Western New York based Special Effects company specializing in unique horror props and products.

The company was started in 2024 by FX artist Andrew Lavin who has nearly 20 years of FX work experience. With a background spanning films, fine art, haunted attractions and prop production, Andrew is a well rounded and versatile artist and craftsman.

Andrew’s work can be seen every fall at Buffalo’s premiere haunted attraction, Frightworld: America’s Screampark, where he has work for over 15 years doing makeup, set detailing and prop making.
